Designers and businesses are increasingly interested in applying behavioral science to their work — whether “nudging” pedestrians to cross streets safely, encouraging recycling, or or transitioning from a traditional office layout to hot-desking. We apply behavioral science through three stages of engagement:
- Evaluation: identifying levers, threats, and opportunities to encourage desired behaviors
- Implementation Strategy
- Impact Assessment
We also collaborate with interior and urban designers to change behaviors through visual cues, layout, and messaging. Our behavioral science consulting clients have included Transport for London (equivalent to Department of Transportation), Huckletree Co-Working, and CIRIA (the Construction Industry Research and Information Association).
